Sofia Kuczer

Communications and Development Manager

Sofia Kuczer has extensive experience in the service industry and a lifelong connection to the Ukrainian community. Sofia brings a versatile skill set and a collaborative spirit to her role. She has directed Plast Ukrainian scouting camps for girls, fostering leadership and community among youth. As a generalist and problem solver, she works closely with Global Detroit’s leadership and entire team on key initiatives, including large-scale projects such as Tapestry. A huge sports fan, Sofia also enjoys crafting, reading, traveling, live music, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She lives in Lansing, Michigan, with her boyfriend and their two cats, Knuckles and Alma.
